What you can learn here

These docs explain FlightStrips: how the strip board works, how it ties into EuroScope, and how to run or extend the project locally. Use them alongside the app—many sections assume you are on VATSIM (or a similar environment) and using coordinated ground and clearance workflows.

In Getting started, you will find a product-oriented introduction, an overview of features, and guidance on the EuroScope plugin (installation, sync, and how it relates to the web UI). That is the right place to begin if you are new to FlightStrips or wiring it into your setup.

Concepts explains ideas that show up everywhere in the product—such as position ownership on the strip board and pre-departure clearance (PDC) / datalink-style flows. These pages are meant to build a shared mental model before you dive into airport-specific or procedural detail.

Procedures walks through operational tasks in the app: for example memory aids, tower / bandbox usage, and other step-by-step material. Expect task-focused pages with concrete sequences, not just theory.

The Kastrup section is airport-specific documentation for Copenhagen (EKCH): clearance delivery, apron and taxi routes, sequencing, runway integration, and related workflows. It is written for controllers who work that airfield in FlightStrips; other airports may follow a similar structure over time.

Troubleshooting provides solutions for common issues: authentication problems, port conflicts, plugin failures, and other setup or runtime issues. Start here if something isn’t working as expected.

Development is for contributors and power users: local development, optional FSD / tooling notes, alpha testing, and meta-information about maintaining this documentation. If you want to build from source, run a dev environment, or change the docs site itself, start here.

Reference holds concise or example-style material that supports the rest of the site (schemas, patterns, or pointers to the codebase). Use it when you need a quick lookup rather than a full tutorial.

If you are unsure where to start, open Getting started, then follow the sidebar into Concepts and Procedures as your role requires. Controllers working EKCH should pair Getting started with Kastrup; developers should pair Getting started with Development. If you’re experiencing issues, check Troubleshooting first.
